Particular attention should be paid to the problem of codependence. Psychiatrists consider, that as a result of drug addict living together with their relatives, they get a serious psychological pathology(which, in turn, causes other diseases),-co-dependence-a complex of specific character features, which impede to live normal and happy life, it appears to relatives of drug addict as a result of permanent mental trauma and attempt to adapt to it.
In doing so, co-dependence of relatives prevents recovery of drug addict, that is a factor „supporting” disease.
